Jamie Doward has over twenty-five years' experience working in media and communications. During his twenty-four years at The Observer he was acting business editor, home affairs editor, social affairs editor and senior reporter. He started out in commercial radio, working in newsrooms as a news editor and news reader. Since January 2023 he has been head of strategic media at BCW, advising clients around the world on communication strategies. He has published two well-received novels, Toxic and Hostage, and he lives in Brighton with his family.
