Levison Wood is a professional explorer, writer and photographer. He founded the pioneering expedition service Secret Compass, leading groups in post conflict areas and remote wildernesses on five continents. He has travelled in over 80 countries worldwide, once hitchhiking overland to India from the UK. Levison spent several years as an officer in the Parachute Regiment where he saw active service on the battlefields of Afghanistan in 2008. Since then he has managed a charity project delivering ambulances to Malawi by driving them overland from London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
