"I love how the author wraps up this book, so that, like the first book, you feel each one is a complete adventure. But you still want to read what happens next."
Available in Kindle, Hardback and Paperback on Amazon.
I'd read book one, 'How to Survive Ghosts, Cats, and Psychopaths' by this author so I was really keen to read this. This book can easily be read as a stand alone, but as book one was so good I would recommend you give that a read too. I really enjoyed this book. Described as a funny, relatable, and at times creepy cozy mystery, it's definitely that. The type of book you want to just snuggle up and read till the end. Which yes I did. I love Delia Sanchez, an ex-cop now turned hotel manager, she's strong and has a unique, recently developed gift of being able to see the dead. I also loved Petie the ghost dog in this story. This book has some great plot developments, and is a good mix of adventure, thrills and danger. It's a perfect modern crime mystery with a paranormal twist. At times funny and sad, the characters are well written and likeable. It's nice to see Bobby J take a more prominent role in this story. I love how the author wraps up this book, so that, like the first book, you feel each one is a complete adventure. But you still want to read what happens next. As I said you could easily read this without reading book one, but I'm glad I read that first just to see the start of Delia's journey. I'll definitely be keeping a look out for any more Delia Sanchez adventures.
