Author Kristen Bailey creates a a tale that feels relatable and touchable. The characters come alive on the page, and with Maggie narrating, I felt as though I sitting alongside her as she gained more of an insight into her colleagues. The burgeoning friendships, and in one case relationship, are lovely to witness. The last minute spanner in the works is placed with care, and I felt empathy for the decisions that are made, keeping my fingers firmly crossed as the ending came in sight. We Three Kings is a wonderfully readable, satisfying tale with just the right touch of enticing romance wrapped within the magic of Christmas.
