In A Court of Thorns and Roses, Feyre manages to free the Faerie Courts from Amarantha's clutches. But all is not well back at the Spring Court. Feyre is now a High Fae and amongst coming to terms with what she had to do to save everyone, she has her new powers and her new position at Tamlin's side as his soon-to-be-bride to contend with. Not forgetting the bargain she made Under the Mountain with Rhysand.
Things are about to get complicated.
This is my favourite book of the series, the book that ensured that the ACOTAR series had me hooked. We see Feyre learn more about the Faerie Kingdoms and herself. What was a fairy tale in the first book becomes something more complex and with larger threats on the horizon and Rhysand on hand to deliver a delicious amount of trouble, sit back and enjoy as Feyre's path changes dramatically.

A Court of Mist and Fury Synopsis
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court - but at a steep cost. Though she now possesses the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, the mesmerising High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates his dark web of political games and tantalising promises, a greater evil looms - and she might be key to stopping it.
But only if she can step into her growing power, heal her fractured soul and have the courage to shape her own future - and the future of a world cloven in two...
