Alongside the romance and entertaining insights into the craziness, camaraderie and competiveness of convention life, seeing Lexi come to terms with her dad’s remarriage, and learning to value who she is, provide some truly moving moments. Aficionados of the UKYA world will love the cameo appearances of contemporary authors, and Lexi’s best friend, wonderful wig-wearing cosplay queen Sam, is exactly the kind of person you want on your side.
