Great escapism mixing crime with a futuristic world. There are 26 (!) in the series, not all available over here yet but if you get hooked (which you should) then you have lots to keep you satisfied. The central duo are strong characters but it’s the advanced technology that makes these such fun. Here Eve has a new car which can move like a rocket and achieve a 15 ft vertical lift. Her colourful clothes and hairstyle are well thought out and the plot is non-stop excitement. With off planet venues from prisons to paradise, it’s “sheer entertainment” (Guardian).
