First, people went into the woods and never returned. Those who did find their way home died days later in unnatural and unexplainable ways. Then, the chalet outside town was discovered, filled with lifeless bodies. In just a few months, Beaverstale, a town with a rich history, has become a place no one dares to approach. Those who still live there stay far from the cursed woods, knowing that escape is either impossible or utterly insane. When John Emmerson and his daughter Leah make a brief stop in Beaverstale on their way to Sorterville, Alabama, they are thrust into the nightmare. Leah vanishes without a trace, leaving behind a chilling trail of blood. Ignoring the town's warnings, John must face the horrors lurking in the forest to save his daughter.
