Debbie Macomber’s books have such a lovely feel-good factor to them, they may be predictable but reading one is like slipping on an old pair of slippers and snuggling down in your favourite chair – just warm and comfortable and safe. This one concerns a grieving husband having a bad time coming to terms with his wife, Hannah’s, death. On the anniversary of the death his brother-in-law gives him a letter from Hannah. She is encouraging him to move forward and gives him the names of three women she thinks should be able to help him – and so we follow his relationship with each woman.
