Appeared on “Hay-on-Sky” 27 May. The fifth in this madcap series starring the wonderful Thursday Next, an agent with her work cut out trying to save our fictional, but very real, heroes. To try and explain these books is impossible, they are seriously original. If you are not a fan we suggest you start at the beginning with The Eyre Affair; it is wacky, wonderful, inventive stuff with folk nipping in and out of books in an alternative world very close to ours. All we would really like to say is, you have got to read them to believe them.
A serial killer is loose in the Bookworld. Meanwhile, Goliath plan on taking literary tourists on holiday to the works of Jane Austen. Thursday Next alone realises the true intent of Goliath's incursions into fiction.
