Requiem by Lauren Oliver

Lovereading view...

The final instalment in the Delirium trilogy. Told in dual narrative between Lena and Hana, this carries straight on from the last (Pandemonium) which finished on a cliff hanger as to whom Lena would choose. You have got to have read the first two books before this then you’ll race through this with your heart in your mouth for it is equally thrilling.

If you like Lauren Oliver you might also like to read books by Daniel H. Wilson, Peyton Marshall and Karen Thompson Walker.

Synopsis

Requiem by Lauren Oliver

The final instalment in the internationally bestselling Delirium trilogy. It is the rule of the Wilds You must be bigger, and stronger, and tougher. A coldness radiates through me, a solid wall that is growing, piece by piece, in my chest. He doesn't love me He never loved me. It was all a lie. 'The old Lena is dead', I say, and then push past him. Each step is more difficult than the last; the heaviness fills me and turns my limbs to stone. You must hurt, or be hurt. Lena can build the walls, but what if there's no one left to take them down? The powerful, heartbreaking conclusion to one of the most eagerly awaited, talked-about series is here.

Reviews

'The new Hunger Games ... We loved the first two books, and spring sees the publication of the final instalment ... With a movie trilogy in the pipeline too, you'd better get reading!'
Cosmopolitan

'[T]he final chapters of Lena Haloway's journey will have readers breathlessly turning the pages ... A dystopian tour de force.'
Kirkus reviews

'Lauren Oliver is the rising star of young adult fiction ... [DELIRIUM] deftly conjures up a recognisably dystopian parallel to our own world, as convincingly terrifying as the North America of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale.'
The Sunday Times on DELIRIUM

'Amazing, unputdownable!'
Grazia on DELIRIUM
