"The characters are well-drawn, even though they are not all likeable."
Initially, I wasn't too sure about this book. It seemed that it was just another story about old school friends getting together and the tensions over unresolved issues that can surface. However, as the story progressed, it became clear that there is much more to this story and by the end I was holding my breath.
The characters are well-drawn, even though they are not all likeable, and the story is moved on by concentrating on one character at a time through which the reader learns about the complexities of their lives and the relationships past and present with their friends. I really enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend it.
