Sarah Broadhurst's view...

I am always on the lookout for something a little different in the thriller area and despite not being a new author, this one fills that bill. Itâs big-corporation crime and espionage stuff, very clever with some great twists, good characters, a nice love interest, that does not detract from the central plot but strangely helps to accelerate the pace, and lots of real page-turning addiction. Great stuff. He has written three other novels (High Crimes was filmed with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd). This is his best but enjoy the others too. This title is also available as an Audiobook in CD format.

Comparisons: John Grisham, Richard North Patterson, Harlan Coben.
Similar this month: Faye and Jonathan Kellerman, Graham Hurley.

If you like Joseph Finder you might also like to read books by Brad Meltzer, Matt Hilton and Richard North Patterson.

Paranoia by Joseph Finder

They really are watching you...
PARANOIA is THE FIRM for the 21st Century

Adam Cassidy is twenty-six and a low-level employee who hates his job at a high-tech corporation. When he manipulates the system to do something nice for a friend, he finds himself charged with a federal crime. Corporate Security gives him a choice: prison - or become a spy in the headquarters of their chief competitor. It's no choice at all.

Adam is trained for his 'mission' and fed inside information when he lands a top job with the rival company. But then he finds that he has talents he never knew he possessed. He's rich, drives a Porsche, lives in a fabulous apartment, and is dating the girl of his dreams.

All he has to do is betray everyone he cares about and everything he believes in...
