"An excellent quick-read dystopian thriller and has legs for development if the author were to return to the world."

The Wall is an excellent quick-read dystopian thriller and has legs for development if the author were to return to the world. Set inside the walled enclave for protection from the mysterious savages patrolling outside, the story follows Ronin and Jayla as they fight to survive in the oppressive conditions laid down by the Central Authority and gradually uncover their secrets.
There's a lot to enjoy here, from the relatable characters and their development as the book goes on, a mix of romance and action, some good twists in the plot and overall a story that mainly just left me wanting to know more about the world and lore, and that would be my only criticism of an otherwise entertaining read, is that at some points it felt things were moving at a very quick pace and it would have been great to have a little more world building and give some more gravity to particular moments in the story.

Danger, romance, lies, conspiracy, friendship and the fear of who to trust made this a gripping read.
Described as a Dystopian romance thriller, The Wall was an interesting read and I was guilty of binge reading it to see what happened at the end.
