This is interesting. Of course the mystery is not revealed until the last few pages and although some of it I guessed, I certainly didn’t guess it all … very clever. Sal wakes up in the back of a taxi on a cliff top in Cornwall. She is drugged, remembers nothing and is staggering around dangerously close to the edge when she is rescued by a dog walker. We then, with her in first-person narrative, attempt to discover how and why she is there. Post-natal depression? (She has two small children.) Suicide? attempt to get her husband’s attention? All these things are explored. Her family gather round: a possessive, professional mother-in-law, her down-to-earth shopkeeper parents, a brother with a new celeb girl friend. Some help, some hinder as we fumble through clues and questions. The poor woman is indeed very confused and begins to believe herself ill. Help is obviously needed. ~ Sarah Broadhurst

Here's what one of our members thinks of her bag
A big thank you for the two Lovereading bags I ordered, which have arrived safely. I love mine and will use it with pride. The bags are lovely quality, sturdy and support a good cause in the Rewrap initiative; I think they make the perfect accessory for any book lover. The second bag was a gift for my sister and she says she will take it to her next book group meeting to help spread the Lovereading word. Once again, many thanks. Emily Wright
Everything You Told Me by Lucy Dawson
Impossible to put down psychological suspense, perfect for fans of Louise Jensen, Tammy Cohen and Claire Douglas. You went to bed at home, just like every other night. You woke up in the back of a taxi, 300 miles away. You have no memory of the last ten hours. You have a suicide note in your coat pocket, in your own writing. You know you weren't planning to kill yourself. Your family and friends think you are lying. Someone knows exactly what happened to you. But they're not telling...
'Another scorcher from Lucy Dawson, Everything You Told Me had me looking at the people in my life with suspicion. If there's one thing I can say about Lucy's books it's do not trust anyone. Twisted, gripping and completely relatable you won't want to put this down until you know the truth.' Jenny Blackhurst, on Everything You Told Me
'An intriguing premise, told in page-turning style. Lucy Dawson sucks you into the story, slowly building a creeping sense of dread. A truly enjoyable read.' Sophie McKenzie on Everything You Told Me

'Gulped this down in a single sitting. Believable characters, intriguing central hook and a plot that hurtles along til the final page.' Tammy Cohen on You Sent Me a Letter
'I'm not exaggerating when I say that this book gave me palpitations. Make sure you don't have anything pressing to do, because once you pick it up there is absolutely no way you'll be able to put it back down.' SJI Holliday on You Sent Me A Letter
