Nash by Jay Crownover

Sarah Broadhurst's view...

We are back with the same group of friends for the fourth in The Marked Men series, here concentrating on the tattoo artist Nash and his stormy past. His true parentage is revealed and somewhat throws him. He begins a relationship with a nurse, Saint. Each of them has huge psychological problems and interestingly there is more emphasis on the sex in this book than in the earlier three. It is well written but the exotic sections do detract a bit from the plot. The other strand to the story is the development of the tattoo studio and how the friends work together as a team eventually hiring another artist, Salem, who Rowdy is instantly attracted to. The next story perhaps? Although part of a series you can dive straight in here and have a really good time. The author has real insight into human relationships, failures, trauma and friendship. This is another great book.

If you like Jay Crownover you might also like to read books by J Lynn, J A Redmerski and Penelope Ward.
