Sarah Broadhurst's view...

You would be best off reading the two earlier books starring Ash Rashid before you start this for there is much background to the character that is useful to know. He is a Muslim-American, an interesting man. Here, now demoted to a community police officer, he discovers two bodies shot in a car and a race-against-time thriller begins. If you are a fan of the series you’ll love it.

If you like Chris Culver you might also like to read books by Robert Crais, Harlan Coben and John Burley.

By Any Means by Chris Culver

At the end of a particularly gruelling summer day, Ash Rashid is heading home to his wife and kids when he discovers a pair of bodies, shot execution style, in the front seat of a crashed vehicle. As the first officer on the scene, Ash finds himself and his department twenty minutes behind a killer in a race where every second counts. With two victims down and a third unaccounted for, the clock is ticking and Ash must find the killer before he strikes again.
