Sarah Broadhurst's view...

A book in two very different parts. Ultra-rich Giorgio mourns his 19-year old son, finds the boy’s diary and a list of seven people the boy hated. Suddenly Giorgio has a reason to live … vengeance for his son. We then get the background to these seven famous people and Giorgio’s secret invitation to fly them out to some remote part of Indonesia. The second part of the book is the power games bit for they have to fight for survival on a small, deserted jungle island into which they have ‘crashed’. By now we’ve really got to know these people and how each reacts is beautifully done. A sort of dramatic ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here’ for real! Great fun.

If you like Victoria Fox you might also like to read books by Jackie Collins, Tilly Bagshawe and Lulu Taylor.

About the Author

Victoria Fox

Picked by Look magazine as one of their Shooting Stars when she published her first novel Hollywood Sinners and nominated by bestselling author Jane Costello, as one of the UK’s most exciting new writing talents, the last five years have seen Victoria Fox become one of the UK’s favourite authors of women’s fiction. The Santiago Sisters is Victoria’s sixth novel following Hollywood Sinners, Temptation Island, Wicked Ambition, Glittering Fortunes and Power Games. Victoria grew up in Northamptonshire and went to boarding school when she was 13 - where she learned what you can get up to when your parents aren’t around and avoided games lessons at all costs. Parts of The Santiago Sisters are based on her experience of attending Badminton School in Bristol. After a short career in commercial publishing in London Victoria now lives in Bristol with her husband.
