Dr. Jamille Nagtalon-Ramos is a distinguished clinician, researcher, educator, and award winning author. She is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University and a women's health nurse practitioner at Penn Medicine. She was instrumental in developing the first obstetric nurse practitioner hospitalist position in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2003. Dr. Nagtalon-Ramos' research centers on two vital areas: (1) improving the sexual and reproductive health of Filipino women in the global diaspora and (2) fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and equitable access to healthcare.
