Books By Basheer M. Nafi - Author

Until recently Director of Research at the International Institute of Islamic Thought, Herndon, Virginia, Dr Basheer Nafi lives in England where he teaches modern Islamic history. He is currently in Cairo conducting research into the history of the ulema institution in Ottoman Egypt. Dr Nafi has written extensively on the politics and history of Arab nationalism, Islamic political forces, and the Palestine Question in various academic journals. Dr Nafi obtained his Ph.D. in Modern History from the University of Reading.
