John Coldstream was on the staff of the two Telegraphs (Sunday and Daily) for 17 years starting on the 'Peterborough' column and then working as deputy literary editor of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph before becoming Literary Editor of the Daily Telegraph in 1992.
