Richard Elliot-Square is based in London, is married, and a director of many companies. An ex Army Officer, he has travelled extensively and during the course of his career has been involved in many ventures meeting billionaires, politicians, entrepreneurs, conmen, flakes and crooks all of whom have given him the seed capital for the basis of his first novel.
Some years ago he was the victim of a fraud perpetrated by unscrupulous international share promoters who preyed upon unsuspecting entrepreneurs and netted millions of dollars for those who ensnared the author into their web, taking him from Riches to Zero. This is the basis for his first faction thriller Supping with the Devil.
June 2013 Debut of the Month. This fast-paced financial thriller has it all: blackmail, murder, corruption, glamour and greed all wrapped into a very contemporary plot. Entrepreneur Nick Adams gets coerced into working for a US agency hellbent on bringing to justice two hugely wealthy tycoons with highly questionable business morals. Unsurprisingly, for Nick, this is not a safe place to find yourself... Self-published by the author whose first hand knowledge of the sometimes murky world of corporate finance brings a very realistic edge to the whole book. In addition to our Lovereading expert opinion for Supping with the Devil a small number of Lovereading members were lucky enough to be invited to review this title - ' I was astounded by how well this financial thriller kept me guessing until the jaw dropping end.' - Edel Waugh.
