Dr Penny Stanway practised for several years as a GP and as a child-health doctor before becoming increasingly interested in the benefits of a healthy diet and other natural approaches to health and well-being. She is also a trained and accomplished cook and has written more than 20 books on health, food and nutrition, including The Miracle of Cider Vinegar (2010) and The Miracle of Lemons (2011).
