All My Own Words is the remarkable story of a kid with a paper round who dreamed of a career in Fleet Street, the historic fulcrum of the British press. In just a few short years, he achieved that ambition and held two of the most prestigious posts in sports writing, only to be sacked for plagiarism when collating material for a tennis annual. Neil Harman didn't have the proper qualifications when he got his first job on a local paper in Southend, but he passed his O-level retakes and set off on a journey packed with incident and controversy.
