Understanding God's Word (Book and DVD)

Understanding God's Word (Book and DVD) Synopsis

Dive into Biblical Interpretation with Understanding God's Word and the Companion Video Study

In his book Understanding God's Word, pastor Jon Nielson gives a clear, meaningful, and practical introduction to biblical interpretation. Part of the Theology Basics suite of resources, this Understanding God's Word set includes a copy of the book and the companion video study, helping Christians read Scripture carefully and in context, identify its core themes and main points, discover Christ in each passage, and respond faithfully within their own lives.

This Understanding God's Word set invites readers to pray, meditate on, and apply what they have learned. The DVD video study pairs with the book by providing 30-minute videos from Nielson summarizing key points and giving application of the main themes. This set, which is ideal for individual study or small groups, can also be used with the Understanding God's Word Workbook, sold separately.
