No Good Deed

No Good Deed Synopsis

The Victor series continues with another gasp-a-minute novel starring the amoral assassin whose skills are unmatched, but who faces enemies at every turn.

'Tight, relentless, brilliantly plotted, and packed with memorable characters. No one does this kind of thriller quite a well as Tom Wood.'
M. W. Craven, bestselling author of the Washington Poe series

Victor's entire existence is dependent on caution and control. Every move is carefully considered. He avoids risks. He manages consequences. He is an assassin-for-hire, and yet staying alive is a full-time profession.

Although not one for doing favours, he takes his debts seriously. So when the person who recently saved his life asks for help, he drops everything to pay what he owes. But delaying his current contract puts him on a blacklist with a client who tolerates no mistakes. If Victor doesn't deliver on his commitment, he's going to be next in the firing line.

As the supposedly simple task spirals out of control, Victor must decide what's more important: the target on his back or repaying the favour. Worse still, his personal mission threatens to unearth a part of himself he buried long ago...
