Dear Santa

LoveReading Says

Underpinned by the power of believing magic can happen (and being wise about what you wish for…), Debbie Macomber’s Dear Santa boasts all the heart-warming hallmarks of a classic, feel-good festive read. While you’re never in doubt that the main character will find her happy every after, her winter wonderland of a journey will have sentimentalists and romantics feeling 100% ready for Christmas.

After a rough year, Lindy is home for the holidays and looking forward to spending two whole weeks in the bosom of her family after a stressful time at work, and the double blow of her boyfriend and best friend hooking up together. When Mom suggests she re-reads her childhood letters to Santa, Lindy’s life begins to turnaround, not least when she writes Santa a new letter: “Who would have thought she’d think to write to Santa beyond the age of eight?

Life was full of wonders.” Ain’t that the truth, Lindy! It’s not long before she reconnects with a fabulous friend from middle school, and a handsome guy she once felt entirely different about. If this novel is anything to go by, Christmas miracles definitely do happen.
