Scott Bailey's first day with a US Government pack train very nearly becomes his last day on earth. Narrowly escaping an ambush, he soon experiences other attempts on his life. Someone is determined to kill him but he does not know who or why.
He finds himself embroiled in a dangerous situation involving law officers, military men and renegades and suspects that he is being used as bait to trap the leader of a criminal operation.
