This is a very welcome reprint, Keith Mossman’s quirky little guide has never been bettered and if you want to find out if that orange pip, cherry stone or piece of ginger will grow, then this is the book for you. You might not end up with much exotic produce but you will find some very attractive plants for the house and garden will result.
The trees may have to grow outside but there is advice on bonsai too. Experimental gardening and a source of free plants, a marvellous book for the curious, the eager recycler and families and children.
