His beloved daughter has been lost to a dangerous cult.
And now time is running out to rebuild their relationship. Haunted by his failings as a son, a husband and, most of all, as a father, he is desperate to try and make things right before it's too late.
Told through fragments of memory The Absolutes captures the essence of hope in the face of loss as one man struggles to come to terms with his past.

About Kate Potter
Kate grew up in the UK, France, The Netherlands and Norway and studied English Literature at Utrecht University, before moving back to England to study Fine Art. She specialised in photography and pursued this for most of her life until she became a teacher. It wasn't until she had a child at 41 that her vision became more internal in the form of narrative rather than the photographic image, and this shift marked a significant change in how she felt she could interpret the world.
