It Had to Be You by Jo Carnegie, Ellie Adams

Sarah Broadhurst's view...

Lizzie was expecting a proposal not a dumping and her spontaneous reaction of head-butting her now ex-boyfriend becomes a You Tube sensation. Poor Lizzie finds such notoriety hard to handle and jumps at the chance to escape when two wacky friends suggest they go away for the weekend. Then their hotel is double booked, the car breaks down and they are rescued by a highly annoying fellow. He takes them to his mother in her lovely old manor. We’ve had lots of fun up until now; suddenly we are in for a whole lot more. A great read.

If you like Jo Carnegie, Ellie Adams you might also like to read books by Harriet Evans, Paige Toon and Lucy Diamond.
