Super Thursday 2022 lands today, 13th October. The UK's heaviest annual book production day will have 340 hardback titles published, a rise from the 292 released in 2021 as publishers greatly reduced output owing to the pandemic. Last year was the lightest Super Thursday since The Bookseller started naming the day 13 years ago. It is believed to be the day that the largest number of hardbacks with bestseller list potential hit the shelves.
This key pre-Christmas period can be make or break for many titles on the newsstand with hundreds and hundreds of titles vying for the coveted spots on bestseller lists. Here we share with you a few highlights.
