Namita Gokhale is an Indian writer and co-founder and co-director of the famed Jaipur Literature Festival. She is the author of twenty-five works of fiction and non-fiction. Gokhale's re-telling of the foundational Indian epic the Mahabharata, for young readers, (Puffin Books) has been consistently popular since its publication in 2009.
