Issa Quincy is a British novelist, playwright, poet and director who is currently based in New York City. He grew up in Oxford and studied philosophy and literature at the University of East Anglia. Whilst studying, he worked in theatre, writing and directing his own plays in both London and Norwich. He spent several years working as a film archivist and is currently working with Egyptian-American filmmaker Dina Amer on her forthcoming film Cain and Abel. His poetry has appeared in The London Magazine and New Rivers Press. His fiction has appeared in Transition Magazine.
