After working as an actor and arts administrator in London, Clare married a boat builder and moved to Cornwall. She promptly had three children and set up an improvised theatre company, re-enacting the stories of their audiences around the county. More recently she has co-written and performed with the all women ensemble, 'Riot of the Freelance Mind' and she regularly reads her short fiction at spoken word events and local festivals. Sally Atkins has drawn, painted, glued, moulded, sewn, shaped and created since before she could string a sentence together. She studied art at college and went on to study for a textile design degree, but left to work for BT A few years ago she did a Stained Glass course, then a Resin course, a machine embroidery course, an enamelling course.... Sally found her original love of drawing and created buildings on reclaimed wood and vintage items which is when she set up her business.
