Daisy Jordan was born in London in 1959 and is married with three children. She has always written in her spare time, and her short stories and articles have been published in women’s magazines for several years and she writes full-time. In 1994 she and her family moved to Cardiff, where the singing never stops, the sun always shines, and the Welsh rugby team always wins.
She knew she shouldn’t befriend the hurting boy but memories of her own pain and his obvious need for help places her, as head teacher, in an ideal position to ‘interfere’. What she finds is a hurting Dad too. This is such a lovely tale of bereavement and tender understanding lightly handled in a charming, flowing, witty style.Comparison: Robyn Sisman, Jill Mansell, Anna Maxted.Similar this month: Alice Peterson, Noelle Harrison.
