Ian Rankin is the internationally bestselling author of the Inspector Rebus and Detective Malcolm Fox novels, as well as a string of standalone thrillers. Before that he was the Artistic Director of the Brunton Theatre, during which time he directed twenty productions, of which nine were World Premieres. In the ten years Mark has been Artistic Director of the Lyceum there have been over twenty world premieres, including his collaboration with Ian.
