The Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 7B

Author: Justin Richards, Dan Starkey, Guy Adams Format: CD-Audio Release Date: 30/06/2018

This run of stories featuring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor is a boxed set - previous series have been individually available. The final two-parter features the return of arch villain Sutekh, an alien Egyptian God, originally seen in fan favourite TV story Doctor Who -The Pyramids of Mars. 7.5 The Shadow of London by Justin Richards The TARDIS materialises in the backstreets of London in the 1940s. Whilst K9 entertains himself in the time ship's library, the Doctor takes Leela for a walk in the streets. But England's capital is oddly quiet. There are no cars and very few pedestrians... whilst those people they do meet appear really quite English indeed. And all the while they are monitored by cameras feeding images into a secret control room. Something strange is happening in the city. Traitors are running wild... and nothing and no-one are quite as they seem. 7.6 The Bad Penny by Dan Starkey. In the 1970s, hotelier Ron Tulip is having a difficult time. Many of his customers seem to be absconding without payment. The few who remain complain of strange noises and terrible sleep. And to top it all he's just been summoned to the VIP suite... which is something of a problem as he didn't even realise the hotel had one. When turbulence in time takes the TARDIS off course, the Doctor and Leela find themselves visiting the same establishment and in the middle of a temporal paradox and a terrible plan. Because that's the thing about the Cross-Keys hotel. You can check in... but you can never leave. 7.7 Kill the Doctor! by Guy Adams. The TARDIS crew arrive on the planet Drummond, an Earth colony in the far future where everybody uses handheld computers from morning to night. Rania Chuma is the mastermind behind Rene.net, the datastream network that tells you everything you need to know. Anyone who's anyone uses Rene.net. But ever since Rania was young she's heard a voice in her head. That voice is the key to Rene.net's success. And it's a voice the Doctor might find familiar. Whilst Leela chases a thief, the Doctor looks into the planet's datastream and something evil looks back. A subliminal command flashes through Rene.net to Drummond's entire population: `Kill the Doctor'. When the entire planet is against you, where can you possibly hide? 7.8 The Age of Sutekh by Guy Adams. The world has changed. And the evil Osiran Sutekh is returning. As blood sacrifices and worship boost the strength of the God of War, servicer robots walk the streets, killing those who have not converted. Leela is working with the homeless population of the city, while the Doctor co-operates with the police. A brutal battle is ready to begin. And if the Doctor and his friends fail, everyone in the galaxy will perish. Jago & Litefoot

Jago & Litefoot

Author: Justin Richards, Matthew Sweet, Paul Morris, Jonathan Barnes Format: CD-Audio Release Date: 31/05/2017

Four brand new stories featuring the investigators of infernal incidents, in one box set. Someone from the future has arrived in Victorian London on the trail of a renegade...but that trail leads them to Henry Gordon Jago and Professor Litefoot. So begins an adventure that will propel the Infernal Investigators into unknown territory, and an encounter with two people they should avoid at all costs. Themselves. Four more cases for the Infernal Investigators: 13.1: The Stuff of Nightmares by Paul Morris. Litefoot and Jago are both suffering from strange waking nightmares. They resort to hypnotherapy to try to diagnose the problem. But meanwhile a Time Agent is looking for them - as a way of tracking down the notorious criminal Magnus Greel. Before they know what is happening, our heroes find themselves trapped in a dystopian future where nothing makes sense any more. 13.2: Chapel of Night by Jonathan Barnes. Trapped in a parallel world, Jago and Litefoot are enlisted to help Inspector Quick investigate the mysterious Chapel of Night run by Mrs Bartholomew. Needless to say, there is more to the chapel - and Mrs Bartholomew - than there initially seems. Soon our heroes are caught up in another horrifying and dangerous adventure. But more to the point, can they ever get back to their own world again? 13.3: How The Other Half Lives by Matthew Sweet. Perhaps inevitably, Jago and Litefoot meet their counterparts in the world where they now find themselves. The Litefoot in this world still owns Greel's time cabinet, while Jago is also married to Xiu Xiu, a bar maid. But Greel's cabinet is not the only thing to survive from his time in this world - there is also a giant rat on the loose in the sewers beneath London. 13.4: Too Much Reality by Justin Richards. Jago and Litefoot meet their equivalent infernal investigators in this world - Aubrey and Betterman. Together they investigate sightings of a strange 'demon' and bodies that mysteriously fade away. Before long they discover a crashed spaceship, and find out the truth behind Mrs Bartholomew and the Chapel of Night. But even with this mystery solved, will they be able to get home again? This is the thirteenth of an incredibly popular audio spin-off series of two Doctor Who characters first encountered in hit story The Talons of Weng-Chiang in 1977. The characters were created by Robert Holmes, widely regarded as the best writer to work on the series. Jago & Litefoot: Series 12

Jago & Litefoot: Series 12

Author: Justin Richards, Paul Morris, Simon Barnard Format: CD-Audio Release Date: 30/11/2016

Four brand new stories featuring the investigators of infernal incidents, in one box set. 12.1: Picture This (by Justin Richards). An art gallery is robbed, and the curator killed. That might not seem of interest to Jago and Litefoot. But this is the fabled Scarlet Gallery - where the paintings are said to be haunted. And the curator has been drained of blood, as if killed by a vampire. Bizarrely, the only painting that has been stolen is in itself quite unremarkable compared with the others in the gallery. But even so, Jago and Litefoot soon find themselves caught up in events that could end in their deaths - or worse...12.2: The Flickermen (by Paul Morris & Simon Barnard). Jago is rather scathing of the new art of cinematography. Even so, he accompanies Litefoot to see a demonstration at a fairground. But this is no ordinary film. Can creatures live inside the film - or even escape from it? Ellie recalls childhood stories about the 'Flickermen', and elsewhere people start to flicker in and out of existence. By the end of their adventure, Jago and Litefoot will themselves be film stars. But what they see when the film of them is shown will give them both pause for thought...1 2.3: School of Blood (by Paul Morris). Acting on a tip off about the possible source of the vampiric murders that are now plaguing London, Jago and Litefoot investigate a girls' school. Due to a misunderstanding, Litefoot finds himself offered a job at the school, while Jago keeps watch on Ellie who they both think is behaving oddly. But before long, they both discover that all is not as it should be at the school. Can Jago and Litefoot track down the vampire before it claims more innocent victims? 12.4: Warm Blood (by Justin Richards). Ellie tells Jago and Litefoot that she has been in contact with a group of vampires and can lead the investigators to them. But can they trust her? With more victims turning up, Jago, Litefoot and Ellie make their way to a house that is supposed to be haunted, and which could be the vampires' base of operations. But what they find there will surprise and horrify Jago and Litefoot. Can they survive their encounter with the vampires when the Old One has decided that they must die?
