Sarah-Kate Lynch has been a journalist for more than twenty years (she started, she claims, when she was seven) but far prefers making things up to trying hard not to. Her first three novels are published by Black Swan.
She hopes one day to be able to say that she spends her time between her homes in Auckland, Dublin and New York. At this stage, however, she only has one home and that is in Auckland. In Dublin and New York she sponges off her friends like anyone else.
A real joy to read , not only is the story great with funny interesting characters but you can find out quite a lot about the champagne making process! Clementine is feeling like life has passed her by and having to take over the House of Peine, the once renowned champagne house which her recently dead father has run in to the ground is not something she is relishing, especially when her two long lost sisters turn up to claim their rights to the family business. Put the champagne on ice and enjoy.
