Alain Bejjani built a career that would take him from Lebanon’s reconstruction to the helm of one of the Middle East’s most iconic organizations. After studying law in Paris, Bejjani co-founded a law firm in Beirut and later served as executive vice chairman of Lebanon’s Investment and Development Authority, working alongside Prime Minister Rafik Hariri during the country’s post-war rebuilding. Thisexperience under Hariri’s mentorship shaped his understanding of visionary leadership andlong-term thinking. Joining Majid Al Futtaim Group in 2006, Bejjani rose to chief executive in 2015, leading operations across 13 countries and overseeing innovations from Ski Dubai to AI-powered retail experiences. His tenure was marked by bold transformation initiatives and acommitment to sustainable, stakeholder-focused leadership.A thought leader on regional business and leadership, Bejjani serves on the boards of the Young Arab Leaders and Lebanese Economic Forum, and he co-chaired the 2019 World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa. He now divides his time between Dubai and Beirut, where he continues to shape conversations about leadership in an era of unprecedented change.
