Tara Proffitt is 38 years old and a single mum of two teenagers. She is from Swindon but moved to Swansea to escape the abuse which has blighted her family. She has worked in rehabilitation in prisons and is currently at university studying psychology and counselling.

Bestselling author and journalist, Ann Cusack has ghost-written nine memoirs, all of which have been original material self-sourced and developed. Ann has previously written several bestsellers for Mirror Books including Groomed by a Gang and Abandoned.
