Slim Palmer Book and Novel

Slim Palmer - Author

Slim Palmer started work, aged 15, as a photo-journalist. In his twenties he decided to go and do ‘other things’. Over the next few years he held a variety of jobs and then joined a Public Relations company.

Leaving the PR world behind the following years saw him work in theatre touring with shows, in a variety of technical roles, all over the United Kingdom including London’s West End. Following an industrial accident he started his own graphic design company.

‘The Albert Tales’, based on characters from his web cartoon series, appeared in 2005; ‘Albert Tales Too’ followed; ‘Albert The Third’ was published 2006 and was short listed for the 2007 $10,000 Blooker Prize.

Slim lives in an anomaly of Northumberland, called Tyneside, where he is now a full time writer.
