Ted Winter studied Modern Languages at Manchester University and taught French, German and Spanish for twenty-seven years before taking up writing. He had two A-Level study guides published before the lure of comic fiction proved irresistible. When not writing, he enjoys travelling, country walks and tennis. He lives in Dorset.
