Project Reset: A Fresh Path for Project Management to Overcome Traditional Challenges
"It began with the authors, Andreas Trautner and Lasse Hasselstrøm from DIS/CREADIS Project Excellence Consulting, failing with their respective projects. Now, after a decade and a half of study and research, they reveal several shared truths about projects: - Projects often fail for the same well-known reasons. - Projects that fail, fail from the start. - Organizations that attempt to address these issues are likely to fail. - These challenges have persisted for decades. These recurring issues stem from a deeper, systemic problem: the lack of consensus on fundamental definitions within project management. Instead, each framework, methodology, method and ideology offers its own interpretation of what constitutes a project, project success, project management and what a project manager is — with different academic schools contributing their own perspectives as well. As a result, projects often become 'Towers of Confusion' — modern-day equivalents of the Tower of Babel — where differing cultures and languages hinder effective communication and success. Project Reset addresses these challenges by offering clear and logical definitions, and a unified language for project management. The authors boldly challenge outdated concepts like the 'Project Triangle' and the 'Project Life Cycle,' replacing them with an innovative, people-centered, and investment-driven approach: The Project Investment Chain®. This transformative framework provides readers with an actionable approach to achieve meaningful and sustainable results. The future of project management starts here. Reset your mindset. Redefine success."

Kildash: The Wizard and the Witch Queen
"Mages are extinct, and spellcasting is outlawed. Heroism is a corporate endeavor choked with red tape, contracts, and cutthroat sponsorships. Space travel is readily available, though it’s an industry fueled by the enslavement of an entire species. None of this matters to Kaleb Kildash. His greatest concern is saving his village from the demon lurking a nearby forest, but when he hitches a ride into space with a group of professional adventurers, his life, as well as the fate of every planet, are changed forever. A monster that feeds on sanity, an uncharted planet, goblin pirates, and the spirit of an ancient wizard are only the beginning of Kaleb’s journey through the void. Old feuds will be unearthed, forgotten legacies awakened, and undying love will consume a young man’s quest for purpose."

Scarab Symbolism of the Ancient World: The Scarabaues in Ancient Egypt, Phoenicia, Sardinia, Etruria
"If you want to understand Ancient Egypt, you must demystify the concept of the Scarab and its subsequent symbolism. When we first meet the Scarab symbol in Egypt; itwe immediately see it was the symbol and tangible expression of an elevated religious idea, embracing that of future life, of the human soul, a resurrection of it, and most likely, a reward or scorning of it in the future life, based on its conduct in the terrestrial life. This concept cannot be underestimated. The ancient Egyptians were heavily involved in symbolism, which they fused into their Art; the Scarab symbolism was the most powerful of it all. Scarab, in Latin, scarabaeus, forms the backbone of early ancient Egyptian religion. This symbol is specifically of the dung beetle (Scarabaeus sacer), which lays its eggs in dung balls fashioned through the rolling. This beetle was associated with the divine manifestation of the early morning sun, Khepri, whose Name was written with the scarab hieroglyph and who was believed to roll the disk of the morning sun over the eastern horizon at daybreak. Since the scarab hieroglyph, Kheper, refers variously to the ideas of existence, manifestation, development, growth, and effectiveness, the beetle itself was a favorite form used for amulets in all periods of Egyptian history."
