The book contains 35 parables that Jesus gave to us, plus a few of His sayings, that are also marked as parables.
Jesus started out His ministry by giving us the parable of new ways and old ways, then the principle of sowing and reaping. Followed by teaching parables and kingdom parables, and ending with prophetic and warning parables. Each parable is presented in a clear way having a concise summary after it. Thus, trying not to detract from the spoken parable, but rather allowing the reader to meditate further on the truth of the parable. For God's Word and teachings must always remain the centerpiece of the study.
The book shows you the importance of understanding the parables, for prophecy tells us that if we do understand them we would then be converted and healed. This by itself should be ample reason to desire to understand the parables of the Bible.
This book contains approximately forty healing within the Gospels done by Jesus and twelve healings within the book of Acts done by His disciples. Each healing was uniquely done and shows us different principles and insights into God's marvelous Word and His ways.
Jesus, throughout His ministry did both individual healings as well as healings of the multitudes, and after His Crucifixion this same healing ministry was continued on by His disciples, letting us know that healing is still for today and can be performed by other men.
As you read through these healings it is my prayer that your faith and expectancy will come alive and you will be one step closer to receiving your divine healing.
This book is written as a practical healing journey, not just as a academia book on healing. Guiding the reader through the Word of God in a logical progression of steps, making one aware of the power behind the Word, for Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly, John 10:10. God's Word is able to meet all of our needs if we but let His Word work in our lives. The Word can heal us both emotional, physically and bring us into a closer and a deeper relationship with Him.
The book addresses many relevant topics in every day language concerning God's Word. There are many short and concise chapter topics, that makes for easy reading.
Understanding and abiding in "the fear of the Lord," is an essential kingdom concept, beneficial for both the believer and the unbeliever alike of hating evil, Proverbs 8:13, and then to flee from evil. It is not meant to be a scary thing or a hidden mystery, but is rather a concept for our own good, so we can then abide in the light as He is in the light, 1st John 1:7.
