The Snake That Bites Its Tail

This book truly is unputdownable and has cost me the best part of last night’s sleep. I hope the publisher puts it up for all the awards for which it qualifies. It deserves to be widely read so Bob Farrand’s toil is rewarded and his charity benefits. Brilliant job. Very well done.

An ingenious plot.

I have just finished reading Farrand's novel and must say, I enjoyed it enormously. He has woven a fascinating story and told it very well. In some ways, I enjoyed the first part more than the second, as the writing was pacey, had me engaged, and much of it, inspired. The final poker game in the illicit gaming club had me on the edge of my seat, as detail piled upon detail. This was extremely convincing as, clearly, Farrand knows his cards, weaving an ingenious plot!

Could not put it down.

I have just finished reading this book. I just could not put it down.

I was gripped from the start.

Just finished one of the most fascinating books I’ve ever read. I was gripped from the start and Bob Farrand's ability to get under the skin of a character and portray that person I found remarkable and profound. It was a unique experience and I really hope he writes more. The story/plot is intriguing, a stroke of genius.
