Painstakingly produced by hand, Fahd Burki's imagery offers a series of playful and at times menacing icons or symbols harvested from a very personal mythology of the present, at once disconcertingly familiar and completely novel. Fahd Burki (b. 1981, Lahore, Pakistan) lives and works in Lahore and London. He graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2003 and received a Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Academy of Arts, London in 2010.
