English summary: On the basis of a detailed comparison with selected ancient narratives of storms and shipwrecks, Jens Borstinghaus studies Luke's great story in Acts 27:1-28:6, in which Paul travels as far as Malta. This narrative is particularly important, since it is a brilliant preparation for the conclusion of the entire Luke-Acts. Even though Luke is not what you would call a gifted writer, he proves himself a committed and independent author of early Christianity. By reaching Rome despite all dangers and difficulties, Paul is presented here as an attractive figure, which confirms the Lucan audience in its identity as a gentile-Christian community according to God's will. The study, primarily interested in literary motifs, contributes to both Luke's picture of Paul and the question of the literary genre of Acts as well as the still contentious issue of the so-called we passages.


German description: Vor dem Hintergrund eines ausfuhrlichen Vergleichs mit ausgewahlten antiken Sturm- und Schiffbruchserzahlungen untersucht Jens Borstinghaus die grosse lukanische Erzahlung Apg 27,1-28,6, in der Paulus bis nach Malta gelangt. Besondere Bedeutung kommt dieser Erzahlung deswegen zu, weil sie den Abschluss des gesamten lukanischen Doppelwerks fulminant vorbereitet. Lukas erweist sich dabei nicht gerade als begnadeter Literat, aber sehr wohl als engagierter und selbstandiger fruhchristlicher Schriftsteller, der seinen Adressaten mit dem durch alle Gefahren und Bedrangnisse hindurch nach Rom gelangenden Paulus eine attraktive Identifikationsfigur anbietet. Die vorrangig an der literarischen Motivik orientierte Studie leistet aber nicht nur einen Beitrag zum lukanischen Paulusbild, sondern daruber hinaus sowohl zur Frage nach der Gattung der Apostelgeschichte als auch zu dem noch immer umstrittenen Problem der sog.
