Ode to Kirihito. Part 2 Synopsis

Kirihito Osanai is a young doctor who has just been introduced to the Monmow disease, which transforms humans into dog-like beasts and kills them within a month. Kirihito contracts the disease himself and becomes estranged from his beautiful fianc©e, Izumi Yoshinaga, and his close friend and rival, Urabe. The disease changes Kirihito's character and he soon begins to doubt the medical world. After much resistance, Kirihito breaks down and accepts his new role as a monster and spirit in the rural village he now inhabits. Together they must unravel the conspiracy.
