Derek Prosser - aka Arlo Hopewizer - is a child of the trans-Atlantic, silicon chip-based, techno-age. Everything in his life is end-of-millennium cool - his London mews flat, Zara, his Porsche Boxster. No longer snorting coke, he is over his wild times - or so it seems seems until in one week he meets Ferric, saves Hitler's life, gains a stepmother 6 years his junior and faces a future not only from behind the wheel of his German super-coupe but also from the saddle of Electron, his time-jumping, dream-shifting electric horse.
